Greg Peck and Shane Sullards have always shared the desire to help people be their best. In 2001, the pair decided to turn that passion into a mission when they founded lapdog, inc., a team development group. The team began by building challenge courses around the world and quickly transitioned into the ownership and operation of several challenge courses in the Northeast Georgia area. Since that time, lapdog has truly evolved into a complete team building and development firm. And while the development and use of challenge courses is still utilized as one of the many team development tools, we have developed a wide range of creative team building and development opportunities.The Evolution of lapdog
In 2005, lapdog formed a strategic alliance with Chateau Élan Winery and Resort in Braselton, Georgia. Together, the companies offer a Corporate Development and Team Building Center featuring a challenge course and a variety of team development and team building programs, development labs, and meeting openers, energizers, and ice breakers. A second alliance was formed in 2007 with Paradise Cabins in Blairsville, Georgia, offering guests a full array of development and team building services.In order to meet client’s needs more effectively, lapdog became a distributor for Self Management Group in 2007. Their selection of profiles, assessment tools and workshops are used to expand service offerings as well as enhance the already established team building and team development programs.
